SALT is a video about the artists connection of body to environment. Shot on The Great Salt Lake near Robert Smithson’s Spiral Jetty, the artist allows her body to become land and art. She quests for wildness, tranquility and peace. In a world where the concrete jungle is prevalent and wilderness is being destroyed what happens when we feel the Earth? When we let the salt cut our feet and the wind batter our naked flesh? The body is filled with wholeness. Earth is the body and the body our connection to Earth.
